Describe the problem

Sometimes it is hard to recognize the trailing and leading space in additions in the rendering of the diff.

Describe the solution you'd like

Emphasize the trailing and leading space in additions in the rendering of the diff by always showing a middle dot within the dotted line rectangle for the trailing and leading space.

This is consistent with the deletion in the same situation.
