site becomes unresponsive on data upload

I'm attempting to upload the dataset from YOLOweeds, which contains 5468 images with approx 10000 annotations. When trying to upload the xml files (not the images), Weed-AI becomes unresponsive. Nothing seems to happen after 20 or so minutes of letting it sit there.

Is there anything in the logs for what went wrong or what the issue might be?

The logs record a large number of POST /api/upload_voc requests, starting at 12:25:41 UTC, and continuing until 12:33:31. This is immediately followed by GET /api/login_status/ and GET /api/upload_status/ requests. A second sequence of POST /api/upload_voc requests begins at 12:38:22 and continues until 12:43:33.

There are no errors recorded in the log at this point. I gather this is one of the larger datasets that has been uploaded to date. Might it just be taking a long time with the number and/or size of the files?
