e.g. for http://wiki.bitplan.com/index.php/Dblpconf#Entities

The DDL For the view Record should be created as

CREATE VIEW Record AS
  SELECT KEY,MDATE,YEAR FROM article
UNION
  SELECT KEY,MDATE,YEAR FROM book
...
