Regarding #837
I found out that the total is calculating correctly, but it IS caching the request for 1 hour see: https://github.com/WordImpress/Give/blob/master/includes/payments/class-payment-stats.php#L178-L181
After revisiting this widget, I created #839 so we can focus on improving it in the future.
