Similar to the work being done to create content for developers using the Site Editor with block themes #1263 I think we should do the same for designers, especially as the Site Editor gets more robust and is being used to build sites directly. This came up as part of the FSE Outreach Program during this hallway hangout

Of note, I know we have a few courses that touch on this topic:

https://learn.wordpress.org/course/develop-your-first-low-code-block-theme/
https://learn.wordpress.org/course/simple-site-design-with-full-site-editing/
https://learn.wordpress.org/course/part-2-personalized-site-design-with-full-site-editing-and-theme-blocks/
https://learn.wordpress.org/course/part-3-advanced-site-design-with-full-site-editing-site-editor-templates-and-template-parts/

Perhaps it's just me but I'm really wanting to see content more firmly targeting designers who spend time in tools like Figma and introducing them to the Site Editor. Perhaps those folks who worked on these courses feel that's already done! If so, I trust your read and close this on out :)

What's really needed here is a subject matter expert (SME) who would typically use design tools like Figma or Sketch, but now uses the Site Editor. I'd be happy to work with such an SME to create this content, but I don't have the design experience.

Pinging @ndiego, @colorful-tones, and @richtabor, are you, or do you know folks who are, subject matter experts with tools like Figma or Sketch, and can help with bridging the gap between how those tools work, and how to achieve the same goals in the Site Editor. Or do you feel the content @annezazu has linked above is sufficient?

I wonder if @beafialho might be someone to work with on this!

@jonathanbossenger not me unfortunately. I have been “designing” exclusively in the Editor since probably around 5.9, and I wouldn’t consider myself a designer 😅

@bgardner any thoughts on this one?
