Update: this has been rescheduled to highlight with WCAsia in February. So publishing either at the beginning or end of February 2024. Dec 2023 can be difficult to gather everyone needed. To discuss with team and will depend on when pictures received and processing times etc.

Original provisional schedule: Provisionally August 31, 2023. May swap to September 30 depending on links and date of any WPTranslationDay on September 30 if Sunita is not available. To check with Naoko in polyglots events on any dates and plans to help co-ordinate these two features.

Translation: Translation locale to be checked to give early notice.

As Abha is unwell, have copied @bernard0omnisend some of the information on the series researching and writing to help you get started.

• Scroll down to the start of the story on HeroPress, the right hand column is what we use to draft the updated feature. Can you please check if you can type into the right hand column, under where it says type text draft below. If you can not type it, I will need to recheck the permissions. Please send me your email to check it is the correct one for the document.

• At the end of the document, there is a list of questions, which can be added to or adapted, to help get more updated information from the person being featured. Answers to those questions can be added to

• We can use HeroPress for part of the source material, after checking with the person on anything they would not wish to be featured, has changed, or is no longer correct. HeroPress is a hugely personal story and it is not always suitable for using all material there some time after it was written. Some pieces may require a sensitivity, and in such times, we suggest those kind of discussions are done directly with the person, and check what they are happy to share, rather than the discussion being on a public GitHub board.

Hi there, sorry, I haven't been able to get started on this. I think I might be a blocker here, so if someone else can take over that might be best. Also, I wasn't able to get in touch with him again about the images

Thanks @bernard0omnisend for the update, how is your availability looking now? Wanted to touch base with you in case you had more time.

I have followed up with Anh, and he has sent through some photos for checking size, and today checked permissions and locations. @marybaum and @meherbala wouod either of you be able to save the photos and caption / permissions information in the relevant PofWP folder on the Marketing Drive, and check suitability?

We have had a couple of folks who have said they can help with checking on translations too. I will link that to this and the translation card. Sounds like this was promoted well at WCAsia, thanks Meher and others who helped promote that too.

I have saved the photos and uploaded them to the POWP folder.
