Amplification request details

We have bimonthly New Contributor Chats in the Core Slack channel on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month, according to the schedule: https://make.wordpress.org/meetings/#core

It will be great to convey this opportunity to WordPress developers. Firstly, to make it clear that all developers can contribute to WordPress, there is no need to be an outstanding expert to start. Secondly, that contribution to WordPress can enhance their knowledge. Thirdly, it is easy to start, and we have a special meeting to make an easy start, with the message something like this:

Join our regular New Contributor Chats to find out how to start contributing to WordPress, ask questions and get some tips for making meaningful contributions.

@James-Roberts is running these Chats and can help with figuring out the details.

Hi @OlaIola, I will take a look at this and get something scheduled. Is there a particular post in Slack that goes into details on this recruitment effort, or is the idea to just link to the calendar?

This message focuses on "how" but considering that much of our audience would be completely new to the idea of contributing, perhaps we should focus on "why"?

@bjmcsherry this is a very valid point. If linking with the calendar, people will be lost. We have to create a fresh post on the Make Core blog. And @eidolonnight you have also a great question. I think it can be answered in this post.
Sorry for not responding quicker. I will be on this post with @James-Roberts.
