I'm trying to resolve an issue with the Authorization Header being missing under a server configuration. I found this wiki entry: https://github.com/WordPress/application-passwords/wiki/Basic-Authorization-Header----Missing -- which is fine if you are working with Apache. But, how would this be handled under Nginx?
I do see a response on ServerFault for converting the htaccess rewrite rule to nginx, but I don't see any confirmation of the answer actually working. (https://serverfault.com/questions/489571/convert-htaccess-http-authorization-to-nginx)
