One of the key aspects of the Data Liberation initiative will be to provide pathways for users who want to move to modern WordPress core blocks or between third party editors.

This area covers a wide range of work, including making it easier to move to Blocks from Classic Editor, and closing the gaps in blocks and functionality between editors to make them easier to move between.

How can I contribute?

You can add your voice to existing discussions (listed below) .

Or if you've got a tool or idea related to helping migrate users to the Block Editor you can open a discussion or even just submit it!

Removing this from the main 'getting started' information as it is a downgraded priority as of June 2024.
There is some hope that focusing on HTML > Blocks functionality will assist with migration from many Block Editors.
