Is there a way to focus open apps, a la Spotlight, instead of opening up a new window? #3256

In Spotlight, when you do Cmd-Space + "Chrome" + Enter, it focuses Chrome, it doesn't open a new window. Can this behaviour be replicated by Wox? The PowerToys launcher does the same thing and it's a pretty poor UX if you're used to switching windows by using Spotlight.

Awesome, thank you for your fast response @roose! That is not quite what I want, I basically want a switch on "is app open" ? "switcheroo to it" : "open application". As far as I can tell, installing the plugin and toggling all options on will give me the switcheroo behavior on Alt-Tab, which I definitely don't want to remap anyway, while leaving Alt-Space with the same functionality (e.g. opening up a new window in Chrome). Sorry for the long answer, and I really appreciate your time!

edit: oh, I see you can use the prefix "win" - I'll see if there's a way to get around that; either way, really love Wox, I just discovered it, and it definitely makes it a bit closer to the experience of using macOS.

Crap, I see I've posted an egregious duplicate, haha. Sorry about that and thanks for not telling me off. I'll close this one. All the best!
