Map not loading in IE11

There is a known problem with mapbox-gl-js in Internet Explorer 11 where the map only loads on every other page visit (mapbox/mapbox-gl-js#3040).
Are there any plans to include some workarounds for this issue in ngx-mapbox-gl?
One workaround that worked for me before was setting the map's style again directly after creating the map.
