Edit: I found a crash log: Unhandled exception: 80000003 Thread 1194: mp_media_thread (Crashed) Thread 16F4: Thread 2EAC: libobs: hotkey thread Thread 2B78: tiny_tubular_task_thread Thread 2E6C: audio-io: audio thread Thread C78: Thread 3234: Thread 1CB8: Thread 2F6C: video-io: video thread Thread 1694: libobs: graphics thread Thread 1290: Thread DBC: Thread 104C: Thread 1154: Thread E74: Thread E04: Thread D10: Thread 7C4: Thread 2640: Thread 24EC: Thread 2F28: Thread 12FC: Thread 1934: Thread 2658: Thread BF8: Thread 3118: Thread 3558: Thread 34B4: Thread 2708: Thread 223C: Thread CA0: Thread 2948: Thread 11A8: Thread 17F8: Loaded modules: |
My testing results so far: I could not reproduce the bluescreen. But every time OBS crashed Firefox Developer Edition crashed a few seconds later. Furthermore this only happens if some of the StreamFX functions are used. I'm going to find out which exactly cause this. |
Rejected: Caused by other SoftwareBased on the data reported, the problem is caused by third-party Software (or Plugins to Software), and as such can't (and won't) be supported here. Please seek the proper help channels for the problem you encountered. Going by the information provided, you most likely have an outdated or broken NVIDIA Driver installation, and an outdated OBS Studio version (the lastest version is 27.2.3). |
As the problem occured immediately after the StreamFX installation I think it's related to StreamFX. But you are right, it is likely caused by a interfence of StreamFX, OBS, Firefox, maybe because of the some-part beta status of Firefox Developer edition and maybe others. Meanwhile I've updated OBS and I'm trying to update my graphics card driver. I will continue figuring out, which combination of programs exactly causes this behavior. Thanks for fast reply. PS: the current versions of OBS and StreamFX cannot be selected in the dropdown menu in the bug template. |

OBS Studio Crash Log
I didn't found any log file.
The only .log in the obs installation folder is debug.log. I copied the content above.
Current Behavior
When using the dynamic mask filter, after a while a windows bluescreen appeared.
(Error: System thread execption not handled, File: nvlddmkm.sys)
When trying again after a reboot, OBS crashed after a while (I don't have a crash log / didn't found it; see above)
Note: before crashing everything (including the dynamic mask) worked fine.
Expected Behavior
No crash ;-)
Steps to Reproduce the Bug
Any additional Information we need to know?
Notes:
I applied a 3D-Transform to the same source. (I will continue testing, if this has any influence)
During the Bluescreen the speakers played a 50-Hz-noise. (Maybe, because i heared music before)
