Type /xid to toggle whether to print any spell-/itemID to chat whenever you hover a spell or item.

XiconIds show spell/item ids on tooltips from various sources:

  • SpellBook
  • Talents (own or inspect)
  • ActionBar
  • Inventory
  • Bags
  • Player (De)Buffs
  • Unitframe (De)Buffs
  • Spell-/Itemlinks in chat.

Limitations for (De)Buffs and Talents: Only shows accurate spellIds on spells you have in your spellbook or items in use. For Spells not in your spellbook a result is drawn from a local cache made when you first login with this addon.

For estimate spellIDs a list of spellIDs is beeing shown with a rank (if exists) in brackets.

  • print item/spell links in chat instead
  • print same message only once

  • add slash command /xid for writing spell-/itemId to chat in format "spellName - IDs"
