If Thunderbird is set as auto-starting app, its window will briefly appear for 1 or 2 seconds before minimizing into the tray (as set in systray-x's preference panel).
Isn't there a way to transparently launch ThunderBird?
Additional context
openSUSE Tumbleweed
GNOME 45 Wayland
systray-x 0.9.8
Thunderbird 115.6.0

The addon is started after Thunderbird starts, so there is always some time before I can minimize it again.
TB never added a start minimize option.
The only way is to instruct the window manager to start it minimized, but I do not know if GNOME/Wayland is capable of doing that.
starting minimized is likely doable with KDE and a window specific rule, or another desktop that isn't (as crippled as) gnome (not that KDE is a masterpiece by any means, but at least it isn't gnome)
