dataURL background image disappears when keyboard opens

A colleague and I have experienced an issue where the dataURL is disappearing when the keyboard is opened.
I double checked and the base64 string is still being passed in. The signature itself is not disappearing. It seems similar to what happened in issue #42 .
The issue may be Android specific, as my colleague and I are both on Android, and I've tested it on iOS simulator and it seemed to be fine. I've asked for a follow up from other iOS folks.
