<h1>Bio</h1>
<p>Hi! I am now a first year PhD student in UIUC, supervised by <a href="http://web.engr.illinois.edu/~zaher/">Prof. Tarek F. Abdelzaher</a>. I got my M.S. and B.S. degrees in <a href="http://www.cs.sjtu.edu.cn/en/">Computer Science</a> from <a href="http://en.sjtu.edu.cn/">Shanghi Jiao Tong University</a>. I am fortunate to have <a href="http://www.cs.sjtu.edu.cn/~fwu/">Dr. Fan Wu</a> as my supervisor.</p>

<h1>Research Interest</h1>
<p>My research interests are in the areas of wireless networking, spectrum sensing, and active learning theory.
A central theme is the study of indoor white space exploration. I focus on building a practical indoor white space exploration system,
and divide the problem into two parts: (a) deploying the spectrum detectors at a proper set of indoor locations and (b) recovering the
indoor white space availability map based on the sensing results. The techniques such as compressive sening, relative vector machine (RVM), Gaussian process, and mutual information are utilized in this process.
Now I am focuing on the topic of social sensing.
