Thanks for reporting this issue. Looking at the JavaScript error messages, those don't look related to Yoast SEO or the issue you are having with the eye markers not working.
I see that you are using Visual Composer, so it looks to be a duplicate of Yoast/YoastSEO.js#1315. . Unfortunately, we are unable to mark the content in page builders. 'Under the hood' we are marking the content properly, but as page builders build their content on top of the editor, you can't see the marked content. Unfortunately, we are unable to mark content in active page builders.
As we understand the confusion this may cause, we've decided to disable the markers for the page builders we as Yoast support. Those page builders are Visual Composer and Divi. This means that for Visual Composer and Divi the markers will either be disabled or removed. The feedback will still be there. We understand this is not the desired option, but it's not something we on our end can fix with how page builders currently work.
This will be included in the next release of Yoast SEO, scheduled for today, version 7.9.1.
