Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Google+ will be disabled on March 7, 2019. Users are receiving emails requesting they disable Google+ APis before then.

Describe the solution you'd like

Provide the ability to disable Google+ APIs. This includes the “plus.me” scope, any other Google+ OAuth scopes.

The Yoast plugin does not handle Google+ API calls. You can only set your Google+ homepage in the social accounts, but this does not interact with the API.

google_client.php (as referred to here) is for the Webmaster Tools integration (and the related API calls).

Closing this as a non-issue.
