The Genesis theme outputs Schema code that conflicts with the Schema that the Yoast SEO plugin outputs.
We've received a request for the plugin to automatically disable the Schema output from the Genesis theme.
The user mentions that since the Yoast plugin offers better Schema code, it should automatically disable Genesis Schema output.

I've found that at least the SearchAction and Headline schema by Genesis conflicts with the Yoast schema.
