  • I've read and understood the contribution guidelines.
  • I've searched for any related issues and avoided creating a duplicate issue.

Please give us a description of what happened.

Hi,
I have selected a set instead of a single url for Google Search Console.
Beside not being supported the connection was actually done but Yoast display as current profile “sc-set:” with a series of letters and numbers instead of the name of the set.

Please support/fix this case.

Please describe what you expected to happen and why.

Yoast should display as current the name of the set if a website Set is used.

How can we reproduce this behavior?

  1. Go in the admin dashbord => SEO => Search console => Settings
  2. Select Reautenticate with Google
  3. Select a Website Set

Technical info

  • WordPress version: 4.9.4
  • Yoast SEO version: 6.3.1
  • Relevant plugins in case of a bug: Yoast SEO
  • Tested with theme: Mesmerize

Assuming this issue is about the property sets; those have been discontinued by Google since march 2019: https://searchengineland.com/google-officially-to-kill-off-property-sets-within-google-search-console-313047

That makes this issue obsolete; closing.
