rabidcore local environment errors

with php 5.2.9 in win32, rabidcore wants to find index.php in views/index/ and returns session errors from currentuser.php ln84. works fine in a remote staging environment. are there any local php.ini settings to be aware of?

Oh dear, I've never had the opportunity to test properly in win32. Could you provide me with a zip of the code you were trying to run, and I'll take a look at it?

I was just messing around in bootstrapper.php to see what was happening - the getPath() function returns 'index' on the local win32 and nothing on a rented staging server (netfirms). The session errors have not reappeared as that issue may have been related to some problems with xampp tmp files (deleted all files in "C:\xampp\tmp").
