autosave session

Hello,

would it be possible that the program would automatically (every 3-5min?) save a temporary session file that can be overwritten in the next save round? This would help to restore work (filters, settings etc) after crashes.

yes this is possible. What do you mean by "overwritten in the next save round"?

I mean that we do not need to have a 'history' of autosave session files. one - most recent file is sufficient.
