I may have missed something simple, but styling paragraphs is a bitch using <p>s.
Appending {... } tags to the end of the markdown para would be perfect. Though Pandoc changes, at one end or the other, would be necessary.
Another related suggestion:
Introduce attribute name {!element} for specials elements like cite etc. Could really help with xml --- Text Encoding Initiative (TEI).
I am planning to create a simple css styler utility, using zentity which is about as far as my abilities stretch. A tick list that could be pasted at the end of a para, or if there is a text selection, on either side:
"text [text]{.line} text.{.stanza .poem}" or
"[character]{.speaker}: text [text]{.line} text.{.dialog .play}"
Adding the possibility of JS plugins; special features for special uses; without overburdening Zettlr's elegance might be considered for the future --- I would suggest incorporating UiBooster into Zettlr might be a good platform for people to create plugins easily.
Just downloaded the new beta, and am very impressed.
