one of the wrong adresses probably gives an exception that prohibits the others from being looked up. Make this not error prone.

Its not an exception, the adresses in the database are just really bad.

Error when the browser tries to load some of the locations:
Failed to load https://photon.komoot.de/api/?limit=1&q=Overpoortstraat%2046%209000%20Gent: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'https://haldis.zeus.gent' is therefore not allowed access. The response had HTTP status code 503.

Anybody an idea on how to fix this clientside?

If not we can query (and optionally cache) the locations serverside.
