more recent version of Go in a container for aarch64 and Ubuntu? #4

Ubuntu 16.04 LTS comes with Go 1.6.3, and there's PPAs available to get all the way to 1.8.0.

Any chance that this more recent work could be put into an updated container? The build right now provides a version of 1.5.
