If I leave everything alone in the Extension Options the overlay works great.

When I make changes I get a black box (background?) around the entire overlay message. The black box stays even when the message goes away. I am using a Yolobox Ultra with latest updates. I have also tried it on a Yolobox Mini and a web page with the same results. The web page does not have Width Height and Scale restrictions of the Yolobox overlay so it turns the full page black.

These are the ones I know for sure trigger the issue.
Persistent Session ID
Auto Hide

Even when setting them back to the default value the black box does not go away. It stays as long as the web overlay is active in the yolobox.

They only way to get it to go away is to remove the extension and reinstall.

That's really weird, can you include some photos so I can get a better idea of what's happening?

Here are a few screenshots.

Normal Chat worked before any changes were made.

Black Box showed up when I adjusted the Persistent Session ID or auto hide. The Width Height and Scale in the yolobox overlay could adjust the size of the black box

On a web page with the URL the page would start white when loaded. Then when I put the chat in the full background would go black and stay that way after pulling the chat out.
