For self-hosting the codebase (to keep DB local, etc) it would be nice if signups could be disabled (and maybe have an Account inferred from extra YAML config)

While I appreciate the idea, I'm going to close this as not planned. I don't think this project is the best solution for a single-user webmention receiver.
