I would love to see the Atom feed have the same level of detail as the h-feed feed. Most of the mentions I get are just favorites or mentions, but I also get the occasional comment, and it'd be great if the e-content or h-summary would be floated into the feed as appropriate.
I believe the correct mapping would be *-summary becomes an <atom:summary> and *-content becomes <atom:content>. Type-wise, p-* would have a type="text" and e-* would be type="html".
It'd also be nice if the feed's <atom:link rel="alternate"> went to https://webmention.io/dashboard, to make it easier to actually perform an action on a spammy mention or whatever, and if the item's rel="alternate" and/or self went to the source of the mention. (That would also follow from replacing the content of the item with the appropriate webmention data.)
Anyway, just some ideas on how to make this endpoint even more useful for those of us who still have an attachment to Atom. :)

a quick scan of the last 5 days of access logs shows 37K fetches of atom feeds and 3K fetches of html feeds, so I guess this is still a very relevant feature request!

And that doesn't even include mine, as I've been using granary to convert the h-feed to atom since the atom feed still doesn't include the actual reply/mention content, as far as I can tell.
Thank you for rolling out the working Atom feed.
