ave-goto-line does not respect avy-background

I configure avy-background to 't' and ave-goto-line is the only command that do not darken the background when issued.

Thanks, I think the reasoning was that since the positions were always on the left side of the window, there was no need for background. I bring it back for now, see if anyone complains.
