The confirmation email address link should expire after single use

Expected Result:

The confirmation email address link should expire once the user has verified the email address with a simple and clear message e.g., "The email address is already verified".

Actual Result:

The user is able to confirm the email address multiple times once he clicked on the confirmation link.
