Some questions related to that:

  • Which server? goircd seems to have what we need and is simple to set up
  • How to set up? Via a service file or by hand? Service files for now only supports HTTP services, and we shouldn't have to support many non-HTTP services except ircd, so maybe it's better to keep them simple and treat the ircd as a special case (in the postinst-setup.sh).
  • Which jail? Two arguable choices: either on master, or on users. If on master, issue Connection to itself or another jail #19 should be fixed first.
