No way to statically fetch flag values

I'm writing an integration for this library for acmcarther/spect and while I can fetch lots of interesting metadata about all flags through the static initializer list, I can't actually get the current (string?) value. It would be useful to expose a get method from the static initializer and perhaps rename the initializer object (StaticConfigReference?).
