program stop on disconnect

Hello,
I tried the exemple program, and I got script stop when SGP40 is not found (for any reason like physical disconnection).
I would have preferred that script "try" to connect then when fail, try again later.
I did try to add a "try" instruction, but with no result, it seams that the problem is in the driver.
Is there a way to change this?
