If you're using this lib to create the file dynamically, just sent to route to include the extension, set headers correctly, and all will work. Hope that helps a bit

@marisaroque - if I understand you correctly, you're asking about changing the file extension from .ics to something else - this library doesn't expose a way to do that in the API. I'll put it on the requested features list.
