Once you have created a custom mapping, there's a few steps you have to go through to use it within RIME.

###iOS

  • Download iExplorer to your computer. iExplorer is a program that allows you to use your iPhone as a mass storage device. We'll need it so that you can add your customMapping.json to a place where you can locate it later.
  • Launch iExplorer once installed DAVID FINISH THE REST OF THIS PLEASE!

###Android

  • Plug in your Android device to your computer
  • Drag your mapping json file into the Download folder of your Android device.
  • Run RIME on your device
  • Select the "Mappings" button from the RIME home screen
  • Tap the "Add" button
  • A text field should appear. Enter the name of the mapping file in the text field then select OK.

Your mapping will now be available to be applied to any media file you wish to control with RIME.
