Describe the bug

If you switch your view to sort by Default (SORT_METHOD_UNSORTED) it does not have any effect until you refresh your view. For other sort methods this works fine though.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to any view
  2. Change the sort order to Default
  3. The ordering hasn't changed
  4. Leave the view and go back so it gets redrawn, now to sort order is Default/Unsorted as expected

Expected behavior

If you enable SORT_METHOD_UNSORTED, it should have effect immediately.

  • Operating system: LibreELEC 9.0.2
  • Kodi version: 18.2
  • Addon version: 2.1.0
  • Using a VPN: yno
  • Country you are using the addon from: BE

This is a Kodi issue. You should report it on their bugtracker.

@michaelarnauts That has always been the intention, we just track issues as part of this project too.

I investigated the issue hoping to fix it myself, but that seems harder than expected. See the upstream bug for details: xbmc/xbmc#16370
