if this project is no longer maintained, I wonder whether it makes sense to archive it.

Are you talking about the github archiving effort?
This project has continued outside of this repository in : https://github.com/crossbridge-community
It's also unmaintained now, but it's further ahead in development. So it probably make sense to archive https://github.com/crossbridge-community repos if looking to archive this one.

I don't think you are gonna get any answer from the repo owner here.

@twistedjoe, many thanks for your reply. I didn’t know there was such an initiative from GitHub.

It is clearer for potential users to archive projects, since this reflects the project status.

I see. Then I am not sure we can do anything. The owner of the project are unresponsive. I am owner on the other one (crossbridge-community) and can archive the other.
