On iOS, playback sometimes pauses during seek

There is a race condition somewhere that needs to be tracked down.

Steps to reproduce

1. Play a book with multiple tracks
2. Seek the book (may take several tries)
3. Observe at some point the player stops instead of continuing playing

Expected behaviour

• If playback is already occurring, it should continue playing

Actual behaviour

• Playback stops
