I used the book uploader function, which is a great function and I seem to have a folder that I can't delete or rename a folder that I named wrongly - I keep on running into permissions issues.

Running docker on an unraid server.

Ah I see, the uploader might not be setting permissions correctly.
When you are renaming/deleting the folder are you doing this in Windows?

Both windows and OSX - it won’t let allow me to drop supplemental files(accompanying pdf) into the folder that the uploader created either.

I will look into having the uploader set the correct permissions, but those that you already uploaded will need to be fixed manually. If you need help fixing those permissions let me know.

This is fixed now in v1.4.1.
Uploaded files/folders will be given proper permissions and file ownership.
