🔨 Branding checkup / icon fixing 2023

Phases

• Phase 1: check for the (crypto) trading / investing service icons that aren't regulated.
  • Reasons why are here.
• Phase 2: review process for branding changes and dead services (830 brands)
• Phase 3: removing icons of dead services, unregulated trading / investing companies etc.
• Phase 4: removed "BG update only" version icons.
• Phase 5: update the needed icons with current logos, brand colors (logo sizing and position done with icon grid)
• Phase 6: review process for all the other icons, that need logo size / position fixing (checkup done with icon set lab)
• Phase 7: fixing logo size / position for needed icons using icon grid

EDIT 2023-07-21: Phases 6-7 might not happen this time, if this takes too long.

Other

• Fix / update the generic icons ad6108d 4d9b24d
  • Updated icons from latest release (v2.0.0) of Phosphor Icons.
    • Fixes the incorrect "light" stroke weight that most of the icons had.
  • Fixed the sizes / positions with current iteration of icon grid.
  • Changed the "Computer" icon source from monitor-light.svg to desktop-light.svg.
  • Changed the "Video" icon source from video-camera-light.svg to video-light.svg.
  • Visual changes of icons affected by Phosphor Icons's v2.0.0 release:
    • Books ("Simplified books from 3 to 2 books").
    • Money ("Rounded the corners in money").
• CONTRIBUTING revision that adds info about icon grids etc.
  • Fix "Note" and "Warning" sections
• The stuff on todo list... P.S. Lemmy icon is coming back, don't worry Lemmy added back. P.P.S. Yes, I update Twitter to X, sigh.

Well, I don't know if I could be commenting here, if not, I'm sorry, I'll delete the comment, but, Ctemplar is a dead service since May 26, 2022, its icon is still among the primary icons.
