for every owned name it should be possible to set it as a default #1321
Comments
So you think that an owned name that is actually have a pointer to the another address, should be shown as a default for the current address? |
I would expect this to mean that every name that i own and points to my address should be configurable as default. Can you confirm @marc0olo ? |
This is already possible. |
yeah like we discussed in Sofia. so if I am owner of many different AENS names I should be able to set these as my personal default name IF (only if!) this name as a pointer to an address set. I even think that it makes sense to be able to have the option to set a name as default name when adding an address pointer to a name that didn't have a pointer before. but this could be addressed in a different issue. is this clear now? (at least the upper part 😅 ) |
@CedrikNikita is this possible or is there anything left to implement? |
I am checking now and will close the issue if this is already possible |
thanks @CedrikNikita. not sure why we opened this issue. if a pointer is present it's indeed already possible to make it the default. but as described above I opened #1352. probably not that important but generally even more convenient. closing the issue now |
