Smash Bros. Battle Game

This project was built with React, Node.js, and Express.

Use

Overview

This is a simple game where the user can select two character to battle. Character HP is randomly generated upon selection. The character with the highest HP wins the battle.

Other Features

• Users can edit player names, replace single players, and reset the entire battlefield.
• Users can also view all available characters.

Getting Started

• Clone down the repo
• Install dependencies with yarn

Run Locally

• Install nodemon globally if not installed

  • sudo npm i -g nodemon

• Run the server using nodemon

  • Server will be running on http://localhost:4002

• Run the React frontend with yarn start

  • Frontend will be available on http://localhost:3000
