Currently, you can check this by scrolling to the list and look where your user address shows up. Having yourself shown just like any other person is a bit weird though.

Instead, you should not show up as friend-of-friend, but rather next to their name they should have something like on Twitter where it says »follows you«. Also, these folks should be sorted higher (if you follow them + they follow you, they should be higher than when you just follow them).

+1 for special marking of the ones that "follow back".

I think this page is for managing friends, and alphabetic sorting should be the first step (it is still unsorted). Then we can add "buttons" for sort on total activity, activity with me, latest activity, and more.

Sort options is a bit overkill – sorting is not something people should do, but the app should do.
