Можно ли для проектов с большим объёмом кода сделать разбивку на блоки и вставку их через данный плагин?
У меня не получилось. Возможно Вы сможете сделать?

Какого именно кода? Препроцессоры по-умолчанию поддерживают include.

Это же SSI - для HTML кода соответственно
