Extension seems to be broken #10

Thanks for the extension, I use it every day - now it seems to be broken.

Things I've tried

  • re-installing
  • Removing the extension from .vscode/extensions folder
  • Disabling all extensions and then enabling them all again.

If I open up the devtools and try using the extension to add a commit message, this shows up:

I noticed the same a few weeks ago, the extension stopped working when clicking the icon in the Source Control panel and trying to add an emoji to the commit message.
But a workaround is to open the extension from the Command palette and select an emoji from there, extra step but I am able to use the extension 🤓

Strange thing is that it's working fine for me. 🤔 Can you share how it breaks on your end?

Exactly like @tommijonasar described, clicking the smiley doesn't do anything, a workaround is to activate the extension using the command palette.
