Icon morphs in Source control pane while working with multiple repositories

If you open multiple repositories at once, then the "Smile" button morphs like this:

I also am experiencing this issue, please fix! It makes my UI look ugly otherwise 😭 , I can try to look at fixing this if no one else does... just never worked on a VS code extension before, maybe some pointers on where to look to fix this?

But I guess this repo is not maintained much by the user.

I found https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=Vtrois.gitmoji-vscode to be a good replacement 😄
