In snowflake warehouse a customer can create a network policy to only allow specific IPs to connect to a snowflake instance. If a customer has this setup, Airbyte cloud should be able to work with this setup.

  1. We can expose a set of our cloud IPs so that customer knows which IPs to whitelist
  2. ?

@subodh1810 please clarify if this ticket is related to snowflake source or destination? Or to both?

hey @VitaliiMaltsev this should be done for both the source and the destination since this falls under the scope of how we connect to snowflake. This is specific for cloud only.

I am sharing the screenshot of the slack thread

I suggest you once talk to the infra team to get the IP addresses and update our docs and carry out an experimentation to see if Airbyte cloud would work with snowflake if there is IP whitelisting
