Describe the solution you would like

I would like to see a simple file manager that will allow you to move or rename files and directories in your share. I am always trying to better organize my shares but every time I move things, AirDC++ has to re-compute the hashes as if they were new files. This sometimes takes hours. With a built-in file manager the pathnames could just be changed in the database with no need to re-compute the hashes.

Are there file managers that allow custom actions when the files are moved or renamed? AirDC++ has an API that can be used to rename the files in hash database.
