Warning

Rate Limit Exceeded

@Shahab96 has exceeded the limit for the number of commits or files that can be reviewed per hour. Please wait 21 minutes and 22 seconds before requesting another review.

How to resolve this issue?

After the wait time has elapsed, a review can be triggered using the @coderabbitai review command as a PR comment. Alternatively, push new commits to this PR.

We recommend that you space out your commits to avoid hitting the rate limit.

How do rate limits work?

CodeRabbit enforces hourly rate limits for each developer per organization.
Our paid plans have higher rate limits than the trial, open-source and free plans. In all cases, we re-allow further reviews after a brief timeout.

Walkthrough

The update introduces JSON capabilities to the project, enhancing data handling with serialization and deserialization functions. It also integrates these JSON features into the default build, ensuring ease of use. To support error management with the new JSON functionality, an error variant has been added. This change broadens the application's versatility in managing data formats, catering to a wider range of use cases.

Changes

Files Change Summary
Cargo.toml Added json feature with serde dependencies; Updated default feature to include json.
src/client.rs Introduced JSON serialization/deserialization functions; Conditional compilation for JSON; Updated documentation.
src/error.rs Added JsonError variant for JSON-related errors, conditional on the json feature.

🐰✨
In the realm of code, where the data hops around,
A rabbit worked hard, making leaps and bounds.
With a sprinkle of JSON, so sleek and so neat,
It now speaks in tongues, both terse and sweet.
Errors and typos, it gracefully catches,
In this digital burrow, where magic hatches.

Chat

There are 3 ways to chat with CodeRabbit:

  • Review comments: Directly reply to a review comment made by CodeRabbit. Example:
    • I pushed a fix in commit <commit_id>.
    • Generate unit testing code for this file.
    • Open a follow-up GitHub issue for this discussion.
  • Files and specific lines of code (under the "Files changed" tab): Tag @coderabbitai in a new review comment at the desired location with your query. Examples:
    • @coderabbitai generate unit testing code for this file.
    • @coderabbitai modularize this function.
  • PR comments: Tag @coderabbitai in a new PR comment to ask questions about the PR branch. For the best results, please provide a very specific query, as very limited context is provided in this mode. Examples:
    • @coderabbitai generate interesting stats about this repository and render them as a table.
    • @coderabbitai show all the console.log statements in this repository.
    • @coderabbitai read src/utils.ts and generate unit testing code.
    • @coderabbitai read the files in the src/scheduler package and generate a class diagram using mermaid and a README in the markdown format.

Note: Be mindful of the bot's finite context window. It's strongly recommended to break down tasks such as reading entire modules into smaller chunks. For a focused discussion, use review comments to chat about specific files and their changes, instead of using the PR comments.

CodeRabbit Commands (invoked as PR comments)

  • @coderabbitai pause to pause the reviews on a PR.
  • @coderabbitai resume to resume the paused reviews.
  • @coderabbitai review to trigger a review. This is useful when automatic reviews are disabled for the repository.
  • @coderabbitai resolve resolve all the CodeRabbit review comments.
  • @coderabbitai help to get help.

Additionally, you can add @coderabbitai ignore anywhere in the PR description to prevent this PR from being reviewed.

CodeRabbit Configration File (.coderabbit.yaml)

  • You can programmatically configure CodeRabbit by adding a .coderabbit.yaml file to the root of your repository.
  • The JSON schema for the configuration file is available here.
  • If your editor has YAML language server enabled, you can add the path at the top of this file to enable auto-completion and validation: # yaml-language-server: $schema=https://coderabbit.ai/integrations/coderabbit-overrides.v2.json

Cargo.toml (2)

13-13: The addition of json to the default feature list is a good move, ensuring that JSON handling capabilities are enabled by default.

The definition of the json feature with dependencies on serde and serde_json is correctly implemented. Including the derive feature for serde is essential for deriving the Serialize and Deserialize traits, facilitating JSON operations.

src/error.rs (1)

The addition of the JsonError variant to the MemcacheError enum, conditionally compiled with the json feature, is a well-implemented enhancement. It improves error handling for JSON operations, aligning with the PR's objectives.

src/client.rs (3)

15-17: The use of conditional compilation with the json feature for importing serde::{Deserialize, Serialize} is correctly implemented, ensuring these traits are available for JSON operations when the json feature is enabled.

272-311: The get_json function is a valuable addition, providing a convenient interface for deserializing JSON data from memcached. It's correctly conditionally compiled with the json feature and properly handles errors by converting serde_json::Error into MemcacheError::JsonError.

327-351: The set_json function is a well-implemented addition, offering a convenient method for serializing and storing JSON data in memcached. It's correctly conditionally compiled with the json feature and properly handles errors by converting serde_json::Error into MemcacheError::JsonError.

/// flag: true,
/// array: vec![1, 2, 3],
/// };
/// client.set_json("foo", value, 10).unwrap();

This tests the set_json function below as well, ensuring that the value is actually set correctly

/// ```
#[cfg(feature = "json")]
pub fn set_json<V: Serialize>(&self, key: &str, value: V, expiration: u32) -> Result<(), MemcacheError> {
let value = serde_json::to_string(&value).map_err(|e| MemcacheError::JsonError(e))?;

By doing it this way we can leverage the existing ToMemcacheValue<Stream> impl on String for storage. That'll make this easy to use as consumers won't have to worry about implementing the trait for their structs.
