Is there any updated documentation anywhere?

For example I can't seem to get the "editor.(.session).doc(ument.)insertNewLine()" method to work per https://ace.c9.io/#api=document&nav=api.

What's this project missing is examples. Or is it me who's missing good tutorials? Anyways, couldn't find them on the web.
Any help appreciated.

While debugging I came across hidden info not to use insertNewLine because it's deprecated. Instead use insertMergedLines.
Pity the docs don't get updated. I think I'll move to CodeMirror.
